Sweet Baby Cube Gift Box & Album

Core'dinations Colorcore paper made this cube album look like a million bucks! I am so fortunate as a design team member at Susan K Weckesser to receive so many extra supplies from very generous companies. I received so many wonderful paper from Core'dinations.
It looks so pretty all nested together.

Each layer was cut from core paper and then accented with Graphic 45 paper- I had a few pieces of this baby design from a few years ago. I just love the sweet images.
The couple I am giving this to is having twins, I tried to use versatile colors that would work for either.
A gift certificate goes in the middle and then it can have pictures added or used to decorate in the babies room.

I even put pearls on the bottom box so it had feet to protect the paper.
That yummy yellow satin ribbon is one of my very favorite from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
This is the bag I put together to place the box inside.
I had this Stampin Up set of a rubber ducky and loved how it stamped out and fussy cut them.
Thanks for popping in today and checking out my baby post.

Unity has the challenge up for September and I wanted to make sure I got a card posted. I usually make a project when I see challenges but I forget about posting it till after the challenge is over.
I used the card template as my guide to make a quick Halloween card.
I stamped and fussy cut the ribbon out and pop dotted the dial with the date.
I used my Faber Castell big markers to color the ribbon.
I really like adding stitching it always adds a little extra dimension.

The paper was a two sided design from Authentique "Lustrous" collection.

You Light Up My Life Lantern & Decorations

This past month I helped a dear friend that was celebrating her 50th Wedding Anniversary. I shared the invitations my friend Mary and I created last month. Now I wanted to share some of the decorations I made for the party.
I made three lanterns above for the front table.
Each lantern had four panels and were cut out with one of my favorite Cheery Lynn dies. I added vellum behind each die cut and edged the corners with gold.

A couple more views- the flowers were made with Cheery Lynn flower and leaf dies. It looked so pretty with a candle in the inside.

Here flowers were yellow when she married so she wanted yellow for the 50th celebration.
I wanted to share some of the table decorations and flowers I designed.

I was so honored to be able to help my dear friend have such a fabulous celebration. It really did look elegant, and we let the guests take home the table decorations and party favors.
If you have any questions please let me know, I didn't want to make a longer post and bore anyone with all the details.
Thanks for stopping in today.
